Annapurna Basecamp Trek Via Poonhill

Trip Overview

Annapurna Basecamp Trek via Poonhill is one of the most famous trekking adventures in Nepal and probably one of the short-duration treks that will lead you to the height of 4130m. The Annapurna Base Camp lies within the Annapurna conservation region so there will be many more for you to explore during trekking. In addition to this, Poonhill offers a 360-degree view of Himalayan. Also, this route is quite gentler and is best for beginners. Moreover, half of the total number of people who visit Nepal also like to visit the beautiful Annapurna Base camp. But trekking to base camp from the Poonhill route through Gurung (the great Gurkha warriors) villages makes the journey even more mesmerizing.

Poonhill is the hill station on the border of Myagdi District and Kaski District in Gandaki Province of Nepal. It lies at the perfect hilltop from where we can enjoy the 360-degree view of the magnificent white mountains of the Himalayas. Furthermore, this point is also popular for sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. In fact, the best part of the place is that we can witness the unique culture of the Gurung and Magar communities living in the village near Poonhill.
