Mardi Himal Trek is one of the shortest trekking routes in the Annapurna. In the past, it used to be the off-the-beaten-path trek in the region. However, with the popularity during the early years, now it’s not as an off-the-beaten trek. Still, there is a lesser number of people trekking in this region compared to that of Poonhill and ABC. Hence, it is one of the most popular short trekking in Nepal. The captivating rhododendron forests till the height of 3300m and out of the blue, this hike provides the astonishing perspective of Mardi Himal, Machhepuchre, and Annapurna.

The major starting point of the Mardi Himal trek is Kande, Kaski is just 27 kilometers, an hour’s drive from Pokhara. Likewise, it lies 14 kilometers before Nayapul, the Starting point of most of the trekking routes in the Annapurna Region like Ghorepani Poonhill Trek, Khopra Danda Trek, and Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Similarly, we can reach The highest Bungee Jump of Nepal in Kushma from Kande which is 34 kilometers in a drive of an hour and a half.

• After booking The Trek if an Individual Cancels his/her trip Before Arriving here in Nepal Due to any reason Company will Charge 20% of the Trip amount as a Cancellation fund. (Note: if an individual Postpones the trip No Cancellation change will be taken)

Mardi Himal Trek Route:

The journey to the Mardi Himal trek begins with arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, where adventurers embark on a scenic drive to the picturesque city of Pokhara. From Pokhara, the trek officially commences with a transfer to Deurali, serving as the starting point for the exhilarating ascent. Best Time For Mardi Himal Trek:

The best trekking season in Nepal falls under September, October and November. Likewise, the months of March, April, and May are also the best months for trekking in Nepal. Hence, the best time for Mardi Himal Trek is Spring and Autumn. The months between September to November and March to May are the best seasons.

Mardi Mountain Trek Permits:

For all treks in Annapurna Sanctuary, we require an ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) permit. In addition to that, the TIMS (Travel Information Management System) TIMS permit is mandatory for all trekking routes in Nepal. Hence, you will require an ACAP and TIMS Permit for the Mardi Himal Trek.

ACAP Permit Cost$ 30 with a hand-filled form along with two pp size photos and a copy of your passport.
TIMS Permit Cost$ 20 with a hand-filled form along with two pp size photos and a copy of your passport.

Mardi Himal Trek Difficulty:

Mardi Mountain Trek is a moderately difficult trekking route in the Annapurna Region. In comparison to the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Mountain trek is less difficult and more difficult than the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. Detailed Itinenary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport.
Transfer to your hotel and stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 

This is the first day of our preliminary. On this day, we will drive from Pokhara to Kande which will take around 60 minutes. Again, we trek to Pothana (or Deurali) from Kande. It will take 3 to 4 hours to get there. In the wake of coming there, we will register with the lodging to revive ourselves. Only 5 inns are available in Pothana and 3 in Deurali. On the off chance that we stop our foot at Pothana, we will remain at Inn Sangrila G.H or comparable., and if we stop at Deurali, we will remain at Pleasant View Lodge or comparable.

Day 03: Pokhara to Deurali 

Following day, our preliminary keeps on lowing camp which is at the height of 3,150m. It will take around 3 hours to reach there and we will be there appreciating the perspective of wonderful rhododendron trees secured with greenery, plant, and lichen.
