Kalika Bhagwati Temple is a famous Hindu Pilgrimage destination in Baglung. According to mythology, Pratap Narayan Singh Malla got the idol of goddess Kalika in his marriage with King ManiMukunda Sen’s daughter as a dowry. On their return to the palace at Parbat, the bride, groom and others took shelter in the forest. On the following day, no one was able to move the goddess idol from the spot and the king constructed the temple for goddess Kalika at the same spot. [Source: Wikipedia ]
