All treks to Everest begin from Luka. We will be flying to Lukla early in the morning, right after breakfast on the third day. The flight will be an interesting one. since we will be flying amidst the grand Himalayas in a Twin Otter airplane. In the first place, immediately after landing, we begin our short trek to Phakding.
You will be crossing kong ma La pass(5,535) on the tenth day of your trip. Before that, you will traverse all the way through Namche Bazar, Tengboche, Dingboche and Chhukung. You will be spending two days for acclimatization on Namche Bazar and Dingboche.
After you cross Kong ma La pass you will finally reach Lobuche. From your trail moves along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Ahead on the trail, you will see the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse and other mountains. A small ascent will take you to Thangma Riju. From where you can admire panoramic views of the Himalayan vista. Then you will ascend on a steep trail up to the top of Changri Glacier. After you reach Gorak Shep, you will be surrounded by the Himalayas. After resting for a short while, you will be continuing your journey to the Everest Base Camp.
You will pass through rocky dunes, moraines and streams before reaching the base camp of the world’s tallest mountain, Everest. From there you can admire Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains. You will then trek back to Gorak Shep to spend the night.
Trek around Everest is always fun and adventurous. Along with fun thrill comes difficulty so we need an experienced guide to finish the trek without any extreme difficulties. Sherpas are native people living in the Himalayas for a long time. they are familiar with the land structure, the route, and the possibility of any difficulties of the trek. Thus with them, the trek will go smoothly. These guides are registered guides by Nepal Mountaineering Association.
The next day you will start your trek to Kala Patthar early in the morning in order to catch remarkable views of the first light of the sun shining on Mt. Everest. After several hours of ascent, you will be on the top of Kala Patthar. After enjoying the stunning Himalayan vista you will then descend to Lobuche.
From Lobuche, trekking downhill on a trail alongside the Khumbu Glacier and passing through a stupa and tombstones in the distance, ascending through Chola Tsho Lake nearby and finally crossing Chola Khola on a bridge you will reach Dzongla.
From Dzongla, you will finally reach Gokyo on crossing Cho La Pass(5420m).
Meanwhile, you will be resting in Gokyo. On this day you will climb Gokyo Ri and enjoy views of the incredible mountain vista. You will be taking a tour of the popular Gokyo Lake as well.
On the 16 th day, you will cross Renjo La Pass(5,34) in between Gokyo and Marlung. From you will trek to Namche and then to Lukla for your departure to Kathmandu.
Finally, your amazing journey in the Everest region including that to the base camp of Mt. Everest and crossing high passes will come to an end A company representative will pick you up from the hotel and drop you off at the airport 3 hours before our scheduled flight.
Day 01: Arrival at International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
You will possibly be arriving at any time in Kathmandu. Our representative will receive you with a warm welcome and help you get transferred Further trip details, plans and programs will be provided to you. You will be staying overnight in Hotel.
Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m) and Trek to Phakding (2652m): 40 Minutes by flight and 3-4 Hours trek
From Kathmandu, You will fly to Lukla airport-one of the most dangerous airports in the world. On you will get to view the scenery and Himalayan landscape below you before landing. After arriving Lukla, You will feel as you are in the paradise and you will feel the crisp freshness in the air.
From Lukla, Trekking trials of 8km begin. You will be moving towards Cheplung accompanying yourself with the Himalayan landscape. Then, From Cheplung, you will be descending slightly towards You will be staying overnight in Guesthouse.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m): 5-6 Hours
You will be then trekking through Sagarmatha National Park. Alpine woods, small rivers and brooks and deciduous forests will be giving you company during the trek. You might get to spot animals such as musk dears, leopards, jackals, mountain Thar, even unique bird specimens such as the pheasant and long tails birds. After you reach Namche you will be staying overnight.
Day 04: A day of rest at Namche Bazaar (3440m) for acclimatization:
As a matter of fact, Namche bazaar-the perfect place for acclimatization will offer you the panoramic view of around you. You will be roaming around Namche and enjoy the sightseeing and hospitality of community and enjoy crisp freshness in air adapting yourself on that climate.
Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche trek (3870m): 5-6 Hours
From Namche, You will be then trekking through Dudh Koshi valley to the settlement of Phungki Thanka from where you can spot a magnificent view of Everest. Following the trial that marches of you will finally reach to Tyangboche. During you will be encountering the beauty of Himalayan landscapes and down streaming rivers. You will be staying overnight at Tyangboche.
Day 06: Tyangboche to Dingboche trek (4360m): 5-6 Hours
From Tyanboche, you will head towards Dingboche-The summer valley of Khumbu region crossing Imja River via. Correspondingly, There is a long wall in Dingboche built to protect crops from the descending from Imja valley. Likewise, you will get to see Lhotse, Amadablam and the island peak. You will be staying overnight at Dingboche.
Day 07: Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung (4730m): 3-4 Hours
From Dingboche, on the way to you will pass through Imja Khola valley and glacier moraines. Ama Dablam and Lhotse will be accompanying you all the way through. Later, after you cross village you will get the view of Island Peak soaring above you. Finally, you will reach Chhukung, a small settlement in about 30-45 minutes You will then check into the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 08: Acclimatization: Climb Chhukung Ri (5,546m) and trek back to Chhukung: 4 Hours
Today is the day you will be preparing yourself to gain altitude. From Chhukung, You will descend and walking over a winding path below the southern flank of the moraine from the Lhotse Glacier. Then, you will continue walking on a pleasant trail along a streamside. Following the route through Imja and Lhotse, you will finally reach Island Peak Base camp. Ultimately, you will trek back to Chhukung.
Alternately, you can climb Chhukung Ri at height of 5,546 and descend down to Chhukung. From the top of you will get to see the fantastic view of Ama Dablam Mountain.
Finally, you will be staying overnight at Chhukung.
Day 09: Trek from Chhukung to Lobuche(4910m) Crossing Kongma La Pass(5535m) 8-9 Hours
On this day of your trek, you will finally cross Kongma La pass. While crossing your first pass you will carry the frequent amount of water and snacks since there are no lodges on the way to Lobuche. Moraines and Glaciers, sloppy stone stairs, frozen Lakes, spectacular view of Island peak and Amphu Lapcha ridges are the major attraction of the trail. Finally, the decent from Khumbu glacier will take you to Lobuche. You will be staying overnight at Lobuche.
Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5364m) via Gorakshep and return to Gorekshep (5181m): 6-8 Hours
After leaving Lobuche, it will be a slow walk trial so as to avoid altitude sickness. You will reach Gorekshep(5181m) within 3 hours. From here you will finally arrive at Everest Base Camp. You will be spending some time at Everest Base Camp enjoying the sights and environment. After that, you will be returning to Gorakshep. You will then check into the guesthouse and stay overnight.
Day 11: Trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m) and trek to Dzongla (4830m): 6-8 Hours
From Gorakshep, you will be hiking to Kala Patthar-spot offering the best view of Everest, early at dawn. Early in the morning, you will get chance to encounter sunrise over Everest changing colour of mountains from silver to gold. Spending some time in Kala Patthar you will trek back to Lobuche and join the trail to Dzongla. Likewise, Dzongla is the beautiful place at the base of Cho La Pass. Finally, on reaching Dzongla you will explore around and spend overnight there.
Day 12: Trek from Dzongla(4830m) to Gokyo(4800m) via Thangnak crossing Cho La Pass(5420m 8 Hours
On this day, your trail transverse westward from Dzongla. After that, Trekking for about 1 hour and gaining some further height, you will start to get a glimpse of Chola Lake. Likewise, you will see the Pristine view of Ama Dablam peak as well. Rocks might be glazed by ice so, you need to be careful while trekking on the trail. Crevasse at the junction of glacier makes the final climb to Chola a little tricky. After reaching the top, the view of mountains around you and flapping of prayer flags by the strong wind will be breathtaking at the top. Then, descending from the top, you will reach Thangnak. After that, your trail will take you to the longest glacier of Nepal- The Ngozumpa Glacier. Meanwhile, walking further on your trail you will cross Two of the Gokyo Lake on the series of six Gokyo lakes. You will finally reach Gokyo village at the edge of Gokyo Lake. You will be staying overnight at Gokyo.
Day 13: A day for rest at Gokyo(4800m): (explore Gokyo Ri)
On this day, you will be exploring the Gokyo valley. If the weather is better enough then, you can climb to Gokyo Ri to get the best view of Everest region. In the like manner, you will get to see the spectacular view of Gokyo Lake, Mount Everest, Mount Makalu, Mount Lhotse, Mount Nuptse and some other peaks in the Everest region.
Day 14: Trek from Gokyo to Marlung (4210m) crossing Renjo La Pass (5345m): 8 Hours
Today, you will be crossing the final pass among the three passes in the Everest region. Early in the morning, you will trek for three hours and finally reach Renjo La via Dudh Pokhari. You will then descend down to Thame. Meanwhile, you will see Renjo lake while walking on a narrow route to Thame. You will finally reach Marlung after walking for an Hour from Lumde. You will be staying overnight in Marlung.
Day 15: Trek from Marlung to Namche Bazar (3440m): 7 Hours
On the 15th day of your trek, you will cross Bhotekoshi river and follow the green trail beside Langmuche Khola. Walking for some time, you will reach Phortse Village. Additionally, Phortse village is where Laudo Monastery is situated. Laudo Monastery is popular among foreign trekkers for Buddhist study and meditation. Finally, on crossing multiple Gompas and colourful prayer flags, you will reach Namche Bazar. You will be staying overnight in Namche Bazar.
Day 16: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2780m): 6 Hours
From Namche, following a steeply trial and crossing the suspension bridge, along with the rushing Dudh Koshi by your side you will hike to Lukla. You will be mesmerized by the sound of rushing Dudh Koshi and view of Himalayan landscape decorated by prayer flags and chortens. After in the evening, you will probably be celebrating the victory of completing the trial and you will be staying overnight
Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu (1300m)
At the End of trekking part of the journey, you will take a 40-minute flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. You can enjoy viewing the landscapes below you when you are on the flight. After reaching Kathmandu airport you will be transferred to the hotel. You will be staying in the hotel overnight.
Day 18: Rest Day at Kathmandu
You will relax for a day in Kathmandu. If you wish, you can take a tour of Kathmandu Valley. You can visit Thamel for buying some gifts that hold Nepalese originality and cultures. You will be staying in the hotel overnight.
Day 19: Final Departure
Our airport representative will transport you to Kathmandu international airport 3 Hours before your flight schedule. You will be taking a great lifetime experience from Nepal and you will be recalling your flight to Lukla when planes departure from Tribhuvan international airport.
