From Muldai viewpoint (3637m) the morning sunrise is magnificent and during sunrise, the mountains change colours from silver to golden in a magical way. Muldai viewpoint Khopra danda trek is a moderately difficult virgin trek in Annapurna region. Anyone with a good level of cardiovascular fitness can do this trek. A little previous trekking experience is enough for Mulde viewpoint trek. Still, precautions must be followed regarding altitude sickness in the Himalayas.
Since you’ll be trekking in the Himalayas, altitude gain will be rapid for you. if you are not used to it and this might cost you your life sometimes. The highest elevation in Muldai Viewpoint Khopra danda trek is 4620 meters at Khayer Lake. As a matter of fact, AMS can be observed by people above 3000 meters. Hence, trekkers are prone to AMS during Muldai Viewpoint Khopra ridge trek. Hence preparation and training are essential to avoid Altitude Sickness or AMS(Acute Mountain sickness) During Khopra Danda Trek.
The hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara will be standard and luxurious. However, when it comes to the Himalayas the hotels and accommodation will be in basic teahouses. Still, these teahouses have good service of food and accommodation. Similarly, the warm dining room will be available for you with heated with yak dung and firewood.
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to hotel:
In the first place, you will possibly be arriving at any time in Kathmandu. Then, our representative will receive you with a warm welcome and help you get transferred to the hotel. Further trip details, plans and programs will be provided to you. You will be staying overnight in Hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara (900m): 30 minutes by air / 6-8 Hours drive
Based on the itinerary you can either take the tourist bus, private transportation or flight to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara you can enjoy your remaining time of the day sightseeing. Pokhara is one of the most beautiful places in Nepal and it has so much to offer to you. In like manner, the main attractions of this place are lakes and the Mountains which can be spotted around the valley. Finally, you will be staying overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Trek to Tikhedhunga (1480m): 1-2 Hours Drive and 3-4 Hours
From Pokhara, you will be then driving to Nayapul which is a 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara. After getting stuff sorted out and hiring porters you will walk to Tikhedhunga (1750m). Then, the trek follows the path along Modi Khola, a downstream following from Annapurna valley. You will be staying overnight in the guesthouse.
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani (2874m): 6-7 Hours
Then, you will hike through more than 3000 stone steps to Ulleri-halfway to Ghorepani. It will take 6 to 7 hours to finally reach Ghorepani from Tikhedhunga. You will be staying overnight in the guesthouse.
Day 05: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and Trek to Tadapani (2630m): 6-7 Hours
From Ghorepani, you will reach the top of Poonhill. It is the best spot for viewing Himalayas of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Likewise, you can enjoy seeing mountains turning golden by a morning sunrise. You will then return to Ghorepani and continue your trial to Tadapani. Walking through Deurali you will reach Tadapani in 6 to 7 hours. You will be staying overnight in the guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek from Tadapani(2630m) to Dobato(3350m): 5-6 hours
Today, from Tadapani you’ll hike further to Dobato. The trek length is 6.5 kilometres. You’ll walk across several beautiful villages and you’ll encounter several flora and faunas on the way. Likewise, you’ll still get the view of several silvery mountains. You’ll finally reach Dobato at the elevation of 3350 meters after 5-6 hours of trek and stay overnight.
Day 07: Trek from Dobato(3350m) to Chistibung (3,026 meters) 4-5 hours trek
Early in the morning, you’ll hike up to Muldai viewpoint at the elevation of 3637 meters to collect the spectacular morning view of 25 mountains in Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Later you’ll walk back to Dobato and start your trek to Chistibung. For first one hour, you’ll trek to Bayli Kharka. And finally, you’ll reach Chistibung from Bayli Kharka after 3 hours trek. Stay overnight at Chistibung.
Day 08: Trek from Chistibung(3026m) to Khopra Danda (3,640 meters) 3-4 hours trek
Today, you’ll trek for a relatively shorter time. After three hours trek from Chistibung you’ll reach Khopra ridge from where you can get a spectacular view of mountains like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri and many other peaks in Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
You’ll spend the rest of the day resting in Khopra community lodges and enjoy the best hospitality they offer to their guests. stay overnight in Khopra.
Day 09: Trek from Khopra Ridge to Khayer Lake (4,660 meters) 4-5 hours trek
Today, after breakfast you’ll start your trek up to Khayer Lake. The khayer lake at an elevation of 4660 meters worth the effort of 5 hours exhausting trek. Likewise, the Khayer lake is a sacred lake with the Brahma temple along with it. You’ll set tents and stay overnight. All required kinds of stuff and food must be carried from Khopra danda for this day.
Day 10: Back to Khopra danda
Today, you’ll trek back to Khopra danda following the same path that you followed previous day for the descent. You’ll stay overnight in community lodge in Khopra ridge.
Day 11: Khopra danda to Tatopani
Today, after lunch you’ll descend towards Tatopani. Tatopani lies at the end point of Annapurna circuit trek and it offers hot water ponds. One can relish on hot water pond to comfort the muscle pain during the trek. Stay overnight in Tatopani.
Day 12: Drive back to Pokhara 4-5 hours by jeep
Today, you’ll drive back to Pokhara by jeep. The off-road trail till Beni and the black topped road from Beni through Nayapul (The starting point of Ghorepani Poonhill trek and Khopra ridge trek) will be followed back to Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara.
Day 13: Back to Kathmandu
Either you can take the tourist bus and enjoy viewing the countryside on the way back to Kathmandu or you can take the flight back to Kathmandu. You will be staying overnight in Hotel.
Day 14 ; free day ktm
Day 15: Final Departure
Our airport representative will transport you to Kathmandu international airport 3 Hours before your flight schedule. You will be taking a great lifetime experience from Nepal and you will be recalling your moments in Nepal while leaving this paradise.
