Most of the airlines do provide panoramic mountain flights from Kathmandu and Pokhara in the morning. It is likely you will have to wait until the afternoon before domestic services begin.
There are three broad domestic airlines operating in Nepal: Nepal Airlines, Buddha Air, and Himalaya Airlines. In addition, there are other smaller domestic airlines such as Saurya Airlines, Shree Airlines, Simrik Airlines, Tara Air, and Yeti Airlines.

Yeti Airlines is the parent company of Tara Airlines, which is based at TIA and provides services of domestic flights in Nepal. Combined, these two airlines are the largest flight agent of Nepalese domestic flights and provide access via connecting flights to most of the popular tourist destinations within Nepal. The airline also offers a popular Everest Express flight from Kathmandu to the Everest range.

Every airport or airline does not have the same check-in times. Check-in times between domestic and intercontinental destinations will differ greatly. Some airlines usually require passengers to report to the airport earlier in affiliation with strict security measures. During the holidays and summer vacations, passengers should leave plenty of time since the queue at check-in and immigration can be very long. Lost or damaged luggage should be reported immediately at the airport upon arrival. They will contact the passenger when the lost luggage has been found. Any damage should also be reported immediately to the airlines’ authorities upon arrival. Requests for financial compensation for costs incurred as a result of lost or damaged luggage can be submitted to NAC Customer services Department Relations. If you have a travel insurance policy, you may submit your claim to your insurance company along with the report you received from NAC.
